- Description
- A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along a section of the Great Pee Dee River in South Carolina. The river can be seen meandering through the middle of the image. Wetlands on either of its sides appear greenish-brown and the one on the left retains many vestigial canals. Wooden fences can be seen protruding out of the water where some of these canals connect to the main river channel.
