Description
A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along a section of the Sampit River flowing through Friendfield Plantation in South Carolina. The river can be seen in the bottom left corner flowing northeastward toward the top of the image. Remnant rice fields on the right appear light brown with patches of greener grass and clusters of taller, leafless trees interspersed. Vestigial canals can also be seen in these fields. Beyond the fields/lower vegetation, taller, greener trees are visible.
