Description
A digital scan of an aerial photograph depicting remnant rice fields along the upper Combahee River. The river can be seen flowing along the image’s top edge. It appears blueish black against the nearby fields that have a mixture of green and brown grasses. Vestigial canals and quarter ditches create irregular patterns in the landscape.
