- Description
- A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along a section of the Edisto River. The fields along the image’s bottom edge are flooded, while those in the middle of the image appear drier and largely grassless. Various paths, canals and strips of trees divide the land into smaller plots. The river can be seen meandering south, from the image’s left edge to the right, with two islands visible within its channel: Oakhurst Island along the image's left edge and a small islet close to the right. Willtown Bluff is partially visible behind the dense vegetation. In the distance, just above the river, the ACE basin Wildlife Refuge can be seen, as well as Dawhoo Bridge rising above the wetlands.
