Lower Edisto River - Ace Basin Wildlife Area. –Description from photographer, David Soliday.
Description
A digital aerial photograph of fields along a section of the South Edisto River. The image features a deep meander in the river’s channel, starting in the bottom left corner and ending in the bottom right corner. A small diamond-shaped island is visible on the right side of the meander, while remnant fields are visible on its inner peninsula. A single tributary flows from the top right corner and connects to the river at the meander’s apex, separating two remnant canals. Taller, greener vegetation can be seen in the background.
