- Description
- A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along a section of the Edisto River in South Carolina. The river can be seen flowing by in the image’s lower half. Two islands are visible in the river’s channel: a portion of Prospect Hill Island along the lower right edge and most of Edisto Island in the center. The remnant fields extend unto the mainland, well beyond the islands. Behind these fields, flooded wetlands as well as the nearby Deer Creek and Ashepoo River can all be seen.
