Description
This is a broadside with reprints of two poems, hand signed by the author. Consisting of a long rectangular piece of cardboard with reddish brown text, it shows an image of a desk microphone at the center top margin. Next to the microphone are the words "the/ Spoken/ Word." Below the image are the words "Presented by The Camberly Collection/ January 24, 2003/ The Academy of Medicine/ Atlanta, Georgia." The two poems are presented down the center of the broadside. It is hand signed "Nikki Giovanni" in black ink at the last line of the bottom poem. Underneath the signature is the edition number, handwritten in black ink "205/400."
