- An award plaque issued to Dizzy Gillespie by Downbeat Magazine. Wooden plaque with metal (silver) center plaque with [down / beat] logo in top left corner, with [WEATHER / REPORT] in top right corner, and [1974 / JAZZ CRITICS / POLL] on left, and [DIZZY GILLESPIE / TRUMPET] on right, with a black-and-white depiction of Dizzy Gillespie in profile, carrying a trumpet with upturned bell in his proper left hand and his proper right hand raised in the air. The reverse is backed in green felt and has two centered holes (top and left) for hanging.
