Description
A legal agreement between Goodwill Enterprises, a charitable organization operated by Deidre Brown of Augusta, Georgia, and James Brown Revue for a charitable concert on November 1, 1973 at the Civic Auditorium in Greenville, South Carolina. The agreement is on two unlined white pages with red left and right margin borders, with black type, titled [GEORGIA, RICHMOND COUNTY. / AGREEMENT] with first line reading [This AGREEMENT made and entered into this ____day of / October, 1975, between GOODWILL ENTERPRISES and JAMES BROWN / REVUE.] with four more paragraphs following. Above blank was filled in with handwritten [21st]. The agreement stipulates that any proceeds from the show will be used for [charitable purposes, including, but not limited to, the purchase of food, gifts, or clothing for underprivileged children at Thanksgiving or Christmas of the year 1975]. The second page has one paragraph at top, then signatures on blank lines below, including Clinton Jenkins and James Browns signatures, among two others. Agreement is stapled to a blue piece of paper (on the back), that when folded into fourths horizontally acts as a cover. Front "cover" reads [STATE OF GEORGIA / COUNTY OF RICHMOND / GOODWILL ENTERPRISES / and / JAMES BROWN REVUE / AGREEMENT / Kenneth R.
