- Description
- A black and white photographic print of children at a cotton candy booth. At center there is an open-mouthed, wide-eyed young boy being handed cotton candy on a wooden stick by the cotton candy vendor. Around the boy there is a tightly pressed crowd of boys at the front of the cotton candy stand. The boy to the proper right of the boy receiving the cotton candy looks at the camera while placing a large amount of cotton candy in his own mouth. Some of the other boys look directly into the camera, which appears to be providing the main light source in this exterior nighttime shot; some smile while others simply stare. The shot is situated from the back right corner of the cotton candy stall; an out of focus metal beam supporting the stall tent cuts through the left side of the image at a slight angle. The back of the photograph has an inscription, by hand, of the numbers: [1171], [1171.02], and a photographer's stamp.
