- Description
- A black and white photograph of Gladys Thornton injured and lying prone in the street; a bundle of cloth supports her head while her proper right arm is raised so that her right fist rests close to her forehead. There are shadows cast by nearby standing onlookers and the undercarriage of a stationary streetcar features prominently in the background of the shot. There is an imprint of a palm tree in the bottom right corner of the border on the front of the photograph. The back of the photograph has an inscription, by hand, of the number: [1305] and a photographer's stamp.
