- Description
- A black and white picture postcard depicting a man and a woman posing with two small children in front of a wood cabin in Millwood, South Carolina. The woman wears a blouse and skirt and sits on the steps in front of the door. One child stands directly behind her proper left shoulder and the other child stands next to her on the steps. The man wears a wide-brimmed hat, shirt, vest, and pants and stands to the proper left of the steps. A dog stands next to him. The postcard has some slight green hand tinting. Black type below image reads, [TYPICAL NEGRO CABIN AT MILLWOOD S. C.]. Both sides of postcard have handwritten messages in black ink. A stamp and postmark appear on opposite side of image.
