- Description
- Pair of women's leather shoes. Shoes have a leather strap at the ankle that connects to a metal button. Nails run along side of shoes to connect leather to sole. Machine-sewn shoes with wooden soles protected by iron at the heel and toe. The iron has a maker’s mark “Redfern” and a patent number 771961. Sole of shoe made of wood and is worn from use. Sole of shoe has rubber frame. Leather is stiff, darkened, and slightly brittle.
