Embellished with Fine Engravings, and Musid arranged with accompaniments for the Pianoforte.] Newspaper includes book reviews, opinions ("MARRIAGE," "VANITY OF DRESS"), poetry ("DESTINY.- A DIALOG.," "A BROKEN HEART."), foreign correspondence ("FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF EUROPE"), and musical arrangement ("REMEMBER ME WHILE FAR AWAY"). A section headed [ORIGINAL SKETCHES OF CHARACTER. / LETTERS FROM THE EAST - JOHN NEAL.] valorizes the work of John Neal's defense of American character and literary accomplishment and pillory English habits and mindset in British periodicals. It quotes Neal's emphasis of British hypocrisy in views concerning countries where slavery is legal. Eight pages.
