- Description
- A cabinet card photograph of a baby, identified as six-month-old Gracy Elen Crawford, captured by photographer John Green. The baby wears a long gown. Her eyes are wide open as she gazes at the viewer. Directly behind the baby is a hanging curtain of dark patterned cloth that drapes over the chair the baby is seated on. The wrist and sleeve of an adult is partially visible behind the right-hand edge of the curtain. Below the image is text, printed in ink along the bottom margin, that reads [John Green, - Corner of 18th and/ Market Streets - Denver Colo.]. The back of the photograph contains an inscription that identifies the subject and date of the photograph.
