- Description
- A tintype portrait of three unidentified men captured by photographer John Green. Two of the men are seated, one man stands behind them. The man seated on the left side is placed on a raised platform and wears a three-piece suit with a watch chain and fob dangling from his waistcoat. He has a light colored pocket square, high collar shirt, and a dark tie. He rests his left arm on his left thigh and faces the viewer. The other seated man, on the right, wears a dark work jacket over overalls and a dark button-up collared shirt. His hands are in his lap and he faces the viewer. Standing behind him is a third man in a dark suit, tie, and waistcoat. He stands with his right hand in his pocket and faces the viewer. The tintype is attached to a faded pink paper card. The rectangular image window has a rounded top. The image window is bordered by two narrow red lines. The outer edge of the card is bordered by a repeating stamped pattern in red. The photographer's stamp is on the back.
