- A black-and-white photograph of an unidentified woman photographed at the Ball & Sons studio in Seattle, Washington. The photo is mounted on light-colored pasteboard stamped with the Ball & Sons logo and store location on the bottom of the front side. The photo is a vignette and features a woman sitting in a chair wearing a black dress with large ruffles on the shoulders. Her right elbow is resting on a small table stacked with three books. Her hair is gathered on top of her head. On the back of the card there is a faint impression of another photo.
