The photograph is mounted on light-colored pasteboard with the name and location of the photo studio printed on the front along the bottom. The image is a vignette. The child is wearing a light-colored gingham dress and is posed seated in a piece of furniture draped in dark fabric. The arm of an adult is visible at the child's proper left side with the rest of their body out of frame. The reverse is blank.
