- Description
- A black-and-white photograph of an unidentified man and woman photographed at the J. P. Ball & Son studio in Helena, Montana. The photograph is mounted on light-colored pasteboard with the name and location of the photo studio printed on the front along the bottom. The woman stands slightly behind and to the proper right of the man, who is seated in a chair. She wears a light colored dress with a ruffled collar and fingerless gloves. Her left hand is draped over the back of the chair in which the man sits. He has a mustache and wears a dark suit. There is a length of cloth under him that is bunched up in front of his feet. They are posed in front of a painted interior backdrop. The reverse is blank.
