The man is posed standing in front of a painted interior backdrop. He wears a dark pinstripe suit and stands between a small table and a cloth-covered piece of furniture. His right elbow rests on the fabric and he holds a small reed walking stick in his right hand. His right leg is crossed over his left. The reverse is blank.
