Description
This black and white oval photograph depicts a little boy in a suit with short pants. The little boy wears a light colored, double breasted suit jacket with dark pinstripes, and matching knee-length pants. He wears a tie, high dark sock, and dark shoes. Holding a dark hat in his left hand and a stack of books wrapped in a strap in his right, he stands with his left hand on his hip, gazing directly at the viewer. The photograph is mounted on a brown cardboard backing, with a raised decorative groove framing the photograph. Above the photograph on the left side are the words "Off for school" handwritten in pencil, while underneath on the right side are the words "Lucius Harper/ Galveston, Tex."
