- Description
- A black-and-white photographic postcard of a man holding a lasso. The postcard is in a portrait orientation. The man is depicted in full length, at the center of the image, facing the viewer. He wears dark leather chaps with ties on the side, a white long sleeve shirt, a kerchief at his neck, and a wide brimmed hat pushed back. His sleeves are pushed back and he holds a coil of rope in his proper left hand, and the lasso end in his proper right hand. He stands against a gray fabric backdrop. There is a black border running down the left side of the image. The reverse is white with black ink text. It is in a landscape orientation. The text [POST CARD] is written in outlined letters across the top. Below are sections titled [THIS SPACE FOR MESSAGE] on the left, and [THIS SPACE FOR ADDRESS ONLY] on the right divided by a short vertical line down the center. Handwritten text written across the two sections read, [Miss Allie Shepard / 5[encircled] / 9[encircled]].
