- Description
- A sepia toned photographic postcard of a man in wooly chaps holding a coil of rope. The postcard is in a portrait orientation. The man is depicted in full length, at the center of the image, facing the viewer. He has a slight smile on his face and holds his left should slightly forward. He wears white wooly chaps, a white long sleeve shirt, a medium-toned leather vest embellished with metal studs, a flower patterned kerchief at his neck, leather studded wrist cuffs, and a wide brimmed, leather studded, banded hat with a tall crown. His proper right hand is resting on the grip of his pistol in the holster attached to the front his ammunition cartridge belt. He holds a coil of rope forward in his left hand. Behind him is a painted fabric photography backdrop depicting clouds. The image has a white border. The reverse is white with black ink text. It is in a landscape orientation. The text [POST CARD] is written in outlined letters across the top. Below are sections for [CORRESPONDENCE] on the left, and [ADDRESS] on the right divided by a short vertical line down the center. At the top right is an AZO stamp box. In the bottom left corner is a blue pen mark.
