Description
This gelatin silver print depicts a black and white image of Mary Mooney with a group of people attending the Scottsboro Trial. Mooney is standing in the center of the group and wears a long, dark-colored pea coat with fur at the collar. The woman on the left is also wearing a long, dark-colored pea coat with light-colored fur around the collar. The man next to her is standing on steps that lead to a building not captured in the photograph. He is wearing a three piece suit and is holding a hat in his hands. The two men standing on the right are both wearing three piece suits. All pictured are dressed in formal outerwear; there are two wide steps on which the man on the far left is standing. He is wearing a suit and is holding a hat in his hand. The women standing next to him are wearing hats and long coaats with fur-lined labels. The woman to the right is significantly older than the other woman and wearing glasses. The two men on the right are wearing three-piece suits. One has a coat draped over his right arm and the man on the end has his hands in his pockets. The man standing to the far right stands slightly apart from the group in a lighter colored suit. A piece of paper with capture information is taped to the back of the photograph.
