This gelatin silver print depicts a black and white image of the King family viewing Martin Luther King, Jr.'s body and casket. Mrs. King is standing on the far right and is wearing a dark colored jacket, hat and gloves. Her children, Yolanda, Bernice, Martin III and Dexter are also standing in front of the casket. All of the children except for Bernice are looking into the casket at their father.
