Description
Black and white photograph of Superintendent of Schools Monsignor Bezou addressing a crowd. This photograph depicts the back of man in a long dark robe standing on a long raised platform speaking to a large crowd standing in an open field. On either side of the superintendent are rows of seated men in suits and ecclesiastic robes. The crowd is made up of men, women and children. In the background are several small houses along a street that borders the field. In the photograph's margin is handwritten text "N.O. La. St. Augustine H.S." At the bottom right corner is stamped text "Photo by/ M.J. Porter/ N.O. La." On the verso is a stamp that reads "Any Place - Anywhere- Anytime/ PORTER'S PHOTOS/ 2027 Dryades St./ TU 1118 N.O. LA/ Porter's Pictures make News."
