- Description
- A broadside advertising the Dixie Spiritual Singers of Richmond, Virginia. On the left side of the advertisement is a black-and-white photograph of the group dressed in coordinating dark suits. On the right side is red and black text with their group name and performance information. Drawn on the reverse of the broadside in graphite is a detailed sketch of a boat. An American flag flies from the back of the boat. At the front of the boat is the name Joy. The name Thomas is printed in block letters on the wheelhouse and the signature G. Thomas appears below right of the drawing.
