Description
A scrapbook created by Della Hayden Raney, the principal chief nurse at Tuskegee Army Airfield during World War II. The scrapbook has a leather cover with the Air Force Pilot crest and a depiction of three planes flying amidst a cloud. The bottom right corner of the front of the cover has text that reads: [TUSKEGEE ARMY FLYING SCHOOL]. The interior pages contain photographs, clippings, an Association of Military Surgeons' Certificate, a signed photograph of Colonel Bousefield, head of the African American Medical Group at Tuskegee, and other ephemera connected with the Tuskegee Flying School. The back cover is blank.
