- Description
- Shoes worn by Florance Colgate Rumbough Trevor as part of her wedding ensemble. The pair of three-inch heel open-toed shoes are covered in off-white satin and have rhinestone embellishments. The forefoot has pleated satin and a large bow over the top with an ovoid ring of white rhinestones in a gold colored setting. The toe is open. The straps around the back of the heel and over the front of the ankle are satin covered and the buckle has white rhinestones in gold colored metal. The heel is satin covered. The insole has gold colored leather and fabric. The toe and heel are lined in pale pink leather. The words "BERGDORF" are stamped in white on the insole of the left shoe. The words "DELMAN, INC. / NEW YORK-CHICAGO-LONDON-PARIS" are stamped in white on the insole of the right shoe. The text "SP 80674 59414W 5 M 821" is handwritten on the interior face of leather at the heel back strap of each shoe.
