- Description
- A hand-colored, black and white photograph of three children holding a kitten. The two boys, Edward and Walter Robert Mitchell, are seated on a chair, looking down at the kitten they are holding. Edward is on the left and Walter is in the center. They are wearing white sailor shirts with red ties, white short pants, white striped socks and medium toned oxford style shoes. The girl, Kathleen Mitchell Talbot, standing on the far right side of the photograph is also looking at the kitten. She is wearing a white, short sleeved, knee length dress with a sash tied in bow in the back, white socks and white ribbon laced shoes and a white headband across her forehead. There is an embossed mark on the lower, right corner of the photograph. There are no inscriptions or marks on the back.
