- Description
- A black and white photograph of the senior officers of the Atlanta Life Insurance Company taken at the home of Norris B. Herndon, Atlanta, GA. The photograph is of six men seated around a small card table. Most of the men in the photograph are smoking. Seated on the far left of the photograph is Eugene Martin wearing a white collared shirt with rolled up shirtsleeves, light colored pants and a dark tie. Seated center, left is Fred Armon Toomer, wearing a white shirt and glasses. In the center of the photograph is Gilbert DeLorme, Sr., wearing a white collared shirt with rolled up shirtsleeves, light colored pants, a medium colored patterned tie and glasses. Seated center, right is Dr. Henry Lang, wearing a light collared shirt with rolled up shirtsleeves, light colored pants, a light colored tie and glasses. Norris Herdon is seated on the far right of the photograph with his back to the camera. He is wearing a light collared shirt and light colored pants. There are four brick columns visible in the background. Three of the columns have white capitals with floral-motifs. On top of the card table are three glass ashtrays, a pack of cigarettes and matches. A handwritten note on the back in blue ink identifies the subjects and location.
