Description
Two identical black and white photographs of Sizzla captured at Judgement Yard in the August Town neighborhood of Kingston, Jamaica.
Sizzla is pictured sitting in a white wicker chair on a porch in front of a stucco building. He is looking directly at the camera, wearing light colored clothing and head wrap. In his proper left hand, he holds a plaque reading [Black / Supremacy / In RIGHTOUSNESS OF SALVATION / JESUS NEGUS CHRIST / EMMANUEL "I" SELASSIE "I" / JAH RASTAFARI / IN ROYAL MAJESTY SELASSIE "I" / JAHOVAH JAH RASTAFAR "I"] above a collage of photographic images. Another man sits at a lower level next to Sizzla, wearing dark colored mesh tank top and head wrap. There is a small window above him with decorative muntins in a diamond-shape. 2015.132.18.1 has a handwritten inscription by Bill Adler on the back with the title, location, date and photographer. 2015.132.18.2 has no inscriptions, front or back.
