- The three women are pictured standing inside the studio, singing into a microphone mounted from the right side of the photograph. Left to right is Spinderella, Salt, and Pepa. Spinderella wears a dark shirt with light colored check pants and has the thumb of her proper right hand tucked into her pants pocket.Salt is in the middle wearing an oversized sweater with [9] on the front and dark jeans. Her proper left hand is held in a loose fist in front of her. Pepa is on the right wearing a multicolored sweater and dark pants. Her knees are bent slightly and her proper left hand is in a fist on her thigh. They are in an interior room with wood paneled walls behind them and a ceiling with acoustic tiles above them. On the verso is an inscription by Bill Adler reading [Salt 'N' Pepa by/Al Pereira @ Bayside Studios, Bayside, Queens, 2-6-89].
