- Description
- A Mapex S700 snare drum stand played by Will Calhoun in performances with the band Living Colour. The stand is collapsible and has two parts. The top portion (2015.14.10a) has three metal arms that end in right angles to hold the drum in place. The ends of the arms are coated in black plastic. The arms are connected via a pivot joint to a silver metal pole which slides into and locks in place with the lower portion. The lower portion of the stand (2015.14.10b) is the base of the stand, which is a tripod with black rubber foot caps. The base is adjustable to various heights and has a screw to lock the top portion in place. At the top of the lower portion is a small black and white [MAPEX] plaque.
