- Description
- A three part Mapex C700 cymbal stand played by Will Calhoun in performances with the band Living Colour. The uppermost portion (2015.14.12a) is the boom arm and consists of a silver metal pole with mounting hardware at the top. There is a clamp in the middle of the pole shaft. Attached to the shaft is a pivoting joint holding the cymbal mount, which has two screws at the base. The middle section of the stand (2015.14.12b) is a silver metal pole with a clamp around the middle and a screw at the top for securing the top piece in place. The bottom section (2015.14.12c) is a collapsible tripod with black rubber foot caps. There is a screw at the top for securing the middle section and a black and white oval with the [MAPEX] logo.
