- Description
- A four part Mapex H700 hi-hat stand played by Will Calhoun in performances with the band Living Colour. The cymbal mount (2015.14.13a) is composed of a black plastic screw with felt cushioning which is attached to a metal screw that fixes the clutch to the rest of the stand. The second piece (2015.14.13b) is the narrow metal pole which connects the clutch to the foot pedal. It is threaded at one end. The cymbal rest (2015.14.13c) is a hollow metal tube with a black plastic ring and section of felt at the top. There is also a clamp at the mid point. The foot pedal (2015.14.13d) is the base of the hi-hat stand. It is a collapsable tripod with black rubber foot caps. There is a foot-shaped metal pedal with rubber insets which is attached via chain drive to the shaft. The foot is marked with the [MAPEX] logo in black rubber. The feet are adjustable and there is a screw at the top to lock the other attachments in place.
