- Description
- A custom made Mapex Orion bass drum played by Will Calhoun in performances with the band Living Colour. The shell is highly polished silver colored metal with an overlay of etched steel featuring bands of Egyptian art designs of human figures in profile and hieroglyphs. The drum has a black plastic rim and gold-plated hardware for the drum heads. The drum has two foldable, adjustable metal stands with rubber soles and a mount on the top side to hold the tom drum assembly. Just in front of the mount is an engraved silver plaque reading [MAPEX / Orion Series / MADE IN CHINA / 002864]. The front head is a clear plastic Remo Powerstroke 3 drumhead with the logo in black pigment and two white Remo kick pads adhered to it. The back head is a black tinted Mapex drum head with the logo in white lettering and an enforced circular hole to the right.
