- Description
- The sneaker shoes of a man's costume for the Bahamas Junkanoo Revue, a junkanoo troupe in Miami, Florida.
- The shoes are sneakers that have been decorated to match the rest of the costume. The body of each sneaker has been covered in red tissue paper and red felt. The tongues of the shoes have gold metallic, oval-shaped beading around them and a decorative jewel in the center. There are red shoelaces crossed over each tongue. The tops and bodies of each sneaker are trimmed in three rows of gold metallic beading and gold fabric trim along the bottom in a scalloped pattern. There are large circular faux gemstones throughout the sneakers in blue, clear, and gold. The toes of each sneaker have large circular decorations with a gold net-like appearance on the inside and several small light blue jewels throughout. The insides of the sneakers are lined in red felt and the black rubber soles of the sneakers are visible.
