- Description
- The skirt of a man's costume for the Bahamas Junkanoo Revue, a junkanoo troupe in Miami, Florida.
- The skirt, worn above the hips, has gold, red and blue beads of various shapes and sizes decorate the designs throughout the skirt along with clear gemstones. The front is yellow at the top with a red design trimmed in blue beading. The back, which is longer than the front, has a blue and yellow design on a red background. There are red, white, and blue paisley shapes in the front that extend out from the hips and golden metallic spirals hang from the bottom front of the skirt. A metal hook clasp in the front of the skirt secures it around the body.
