- Description
- A black wool Hilfiger brand men's sport jacket with lime green pinstripes customized by Bernard G. Jacobs and worn by Phlip Bailey, vocalist for Earth, Wind, & Fire. The single-breasted jacket has full-length straight cut sleeves, a notched collar, and closes at the center front with two (2) black plastic buttons with engraved text reading "HILFIGER". There is one (1) inset pocket on the proper left breast, one (1) inset pocket with a flap closure at the proper left front waist, and two (2) inset pockets with flap closures at the proper right front waist. Green rhinestones are adhered to the edges of the flaps. Rhinestones are also adhered at both front breasts and on each sleeve cuff in a western style motif, and in clusters at the tips of each lapel. Each sleeve cuff is slit and four (4) decorative black plastic buttons are sewn at the slit corresponding to four (4) decorative buttonholes in lime green thread. The back of the jacket is double vented and green rhinestones are adhered in a western motif across the shoulders. The jacket is fully lined in acetate-rayon blend fabrics, with the body lined in lime green and the sleeves lined in a white and blue stripe. There are three (3) welted pockets on the interior proper left front, one at the breast with a small coin pocket below it and a third at the waist. There is one (1) welted pocket at the interior pproper right breast with a triangular lime green flap and one (1) black plastic button closure. Below the interior proper left breast pocket is a blue label with silver embroidered text reading "H / HILFIGER". Above the interior proper right breast pocket is a blue lable with silver embroidered text reading "Super 120's / Woven in Eilla, Italy". A manufacturer's tag with fiber content, care, and style information is sewn inside the interior proper right breas pocket. A hanger loop is sewn at the interior center back neck made from blue fabric with gold text reading "Made in Italy."
