Description
A 33 1/3 rpm record album titled, Irresistible, by Tammi Terrell with vinyl disc (a) and album cover (b).
The vinyl record has a blue and white circular label at the center with silver and white text and a graphic. At the top of the label a white and blue map of Michigan with a red, five pointed star over Detroit. Overlaid is red, yellow, and green printed text that reads [MOTOWN]. The rest of the label is blue. Just above the center hole is the album title and artist’s name printed in smaller text that reads [“IRRESISTABLE TAMMI TERRELL”]. To the left of the center hole is the side number and copyright information. To the right of the center hole is the catalog number: [HS-1566-2 / W4RS-6358 / STEREO]. Below the center hole is a numbered list of tracks with credits. The tracks on Side 1 include: [I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU LOVE ME], [THAT'S WHAT BOYS ARE MADE FOR], [COME ON AND SEE ME], [WHAT A GOOD MAN HE IS], [TEARS AT THE END OF A LOVE AFFAIR], and [THIS OLD HEART OF MINE (IS WEAK FOR YOU)]. Side 2 is identical to Side 1. The tracks on Side 2 include: [HE'S THE ONE I LOVE], [CAN'T STOP NOW (LOVE IS CALLING)], [JUST TOO MUCH TO HOPE FOR], [HOLD ME OH MY DARLING], and [I CAN'T GO ON WITHOUT YOU].
The front of the album jacket features a color photograph of Tammi Terrell, in vibrant orange dress, tights, and shoes, seated cross legged on a gray floor against a black background. The album title is printed in red and yellow text to the right of Terrel and reads [Irresistible / Tammi / Terrell]. Printed in orange text below are featured track titles. Below is the logo for Motown Records, printed in white. In the top left corner is the black-and-white text [STEREO] above the catalog number, [MS652]. The back of the jacket is white with black text and a black-and-white photograph of Terrell on the left side of the jacket. Next to the portrait is the album title and beneath the portrait is the track listing. Below are three paragraphs of liner notes written by Ed Ochs. In the bottom right corner is the Motown Records logo, the copyright, and printing information. In the top right corner is the catalog number, [MOTOWN 652] printed in black text and a black triangle with small, white stencil font text that reads [THE / MOTOWN ® / SOUND]
