- This foundation stone supported an East Bartow, Florida bungalow built a century ago by Lawrence Bernard Brown (L.B. Brown). Formerly enslaved, Brown was a self-taught master carpenter and real estate developer. Through determination, thrift, and skill, Brown became a prosperous businessman and a leading citizen in the East Bartow community.

- Grey foundation stone from a bungalow built by Lawrence B. Brown in Bartow, Florida. The stone is four-sided and narrowly tapers towards the top. The top of the foundation stone is flat. The front of the stone features embossed letters arranged in a circle to read “L B B."
