- Description
- This color transparency depicts men playing croquet on the National Mall. In the foreground are two young men holding croquet mallets. One man wears a navy blue shirt and khaki pants. He stands next to a wicket, and gazes at the second man, who wears khaki pants and piece of dark fabric draped around his shoulders. He is bent over in the middle or swinging his mallet at a ball. Behind them is a row of A frame shelters with two men interacting with each other, and a third man in the distance working on one of the shelters.
