- This slide is part of a collection of 35mm slides encapsulating Robert Houston's full portfolio of images related to the Poor People's Campaign and the antipoverty protest camp on the National Mall. Known as "Resurrection City," the camp lasted for six weeks in the spring of 1968.
- Description
- This photographic slide depicts a person wearing a yellow cloth head wrap. Shown from the chest upwards, the individual wears a grey button down shirt and a cloth apron strap around the neck. Wooden frames for temporary shelters are visible in the background. The slide mount has text that reads "processed by/ rogers color lab corp./ new york."
