Description
This stereograph card depicts a group of people picking cotton. There are two young boys wearing hats in the foreground. In the background is a man carrying a wicker basket of cotton on his right shoulder. The stereograph card consists of two similar images side by side, with the images in the center of the card. At either end of the card is vertical script. On the left side margin is script that reads "J.F. Jarvis, Publisher, / Washington D.C." On the right side is script that reads "Sold only by Underwood & Underwood, / Liverpool, - New York, - Chicago, - Toronto, Ottawa, Kas- El Paso, Tex." Along the bottom left margin is text that reads "Copyright, 1892 by Underwood& Underwood." Text along the bottom right margin reads "Away Down Among the Cotton and the Coons, Louisiana. U.S.A. / Lejos en Medio de los Algodoneros, Luisiana, E.U. de A."
