- Description
- This stereograph card depicts a young man sitting under a tree playing a banjo. Consisting of two identical images side by side, the card is arranged with the images in the center. At either end of the card is vertical script. Wearing a brimmed hat, a light colored shirt, and darker colored pants, he sits against a tree trunk with his legs stretched out in front of him. There is a long tear up his left pant leg and a small melon on the ground by his left leg. At the bottom right margin of the card are the words "Tell me dat you lobe me darling." On the left hand margin, running vertically, are the words "American and Foreign Views." On the left hand margin are the words "Sold / Only By Griffith & Griffith / Philadelphia, St. Louis / and Liverpool, Eng."
