- Description
- This stereograph has two arch-top images of men marching in a Grand Army of the Republic parade. In each image, rows of men proceed side by side down a street, with crowds in the background looking on. The men wear dark colored coats, trousers, and hats. Trees and buildings are visible in the background. There is text running vertically up the left hand margin of the card that reads: [Strohmeyer & Wyman / Underwood & Underwood Publishers / New York, NY.] On the right hand side there is text running vertically that reads: [Sold only by Underwood & Underwood/ New York, London, Toronto Canada, Ottawa-Kansas.]. Text on the bottom right margin reads: [Darktown Post: The Pride of the Yaller Gals, G.A.R., Louisville, Ky., U.S.A. / Copyright, 1895, by Strohmeyer & Wyman.] The back of the stereograph is blank.
