- Description
- A leather and vinyl golf purse (2015.249.3a) with unattached button (2015.249.3b) used by Ethel Funches.
- a. Much of the purse is a floral pattern on a white background. The flowers and leaves are brown, golden yellow, red, pink, green, and black. They appear to be pixelated and textured, resembling needlepoint. There are several green fabric vertical stripes on the bag, covering the floral pattern. There is also a green stripe going along the center of the strap and green circles on the two sides of the purse. The strap is connected with a circular metal fastener on each side. The metal is discolored. There are small circular belt notches on either side of the strap so that the length can be adjusted. There is indented text on one of the green ends of the bag. It reads [MacGregor / MADE IN U.S.A.].
- There is a tan metal zipper going along the top of the bag. The inside of the bag is lined in tan fabric. Pieces of the fabric are torn and tattered. There is a side pocket inside the purse alone one of the longer sides. It has a tan metal zipper.
- b. There is an unattached button. It is round and off white with a gold colored metal trim. The back of the button is a darker colored metal.
