Description
An offset lithograph print depicting a brightly colored abstract scene of Ku Klux Klan figures and violence amidst other female and male figures. In the center, a figure in the white Klan robe and hood stands on a field of red squares. Around the figure are red trees with billowing pink tops, resembling flames or smoke. Two additional Klan figures lurk in the background against a dark purple field, with a large burning cross. In the right foreground, also standing on the center field of red squares, a Black female figure with yellow hair and dressed in blue raises a blue-gloved hand. In the bottom left foreground, on a field of green are two white female figures. One, dressed in pink, is standing with her right arm outstretched. The other, in yellow with a large red bow at the waist, kneels before four black crosses standing in the green field, her hands full of white amorphous shapes with small burning black crosses. In the far background of the upper right corner, three white male figures stand in front of a wall of flames and smoke. Beneath the image are three inscriptions handwritten in graphite. At left: [14/100]; at center: [The KKK Boutique]; at right: [C. Billops 1994].
