- Description
- Rectangular, brass sign with four (4) holes, one (1) in each corner. Along the top are two (2) lines of Arabic. Underneath, in the center is English text [NATION OF ISLAM / INTERNATIONAL TRADES DIVISION]. Along the bottom are two (2) columns, the left one in English [Nadar Ail / DIRECTOR OF IMPORTS], and the right one in Arabic. Also at the bottom, right of center is a small engraving in the shape of a pointed oval with the manufacturer information. Within the oval is another concentric, pointed oval. Between the two ovals at the top is a small line of Arabic text and along the bottom is the manufacturer [GRAVEUR D'OR]. Within the ovals is a serial number [272265 / CASA].
- Brass is worn and has water marks across the face. Spotty discolorations overall. Portions of the lettering are chipped and show the brass underneath. Black lettering cracked.
